Title

“Proper candle care makes candles to burn elegantly in a space, creating a charming home!”

What is candle tunneling?

Candle tunneling is a common problem when candles are not burned carefully. It causes a hole to form in the center, leaving unused wax around the edges. To prevent it from happening again, follow these steps:

First Burn: A new candle for the first time, let it burn long enough (at least 45 mins) to melt the entire surface. This prevents the tunnel from starting.

Trim the wick: Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn. This ensures proper burning and helps prevent tunneling.

Even Burn Time: The candle burns for at least 45 mins. This allows the entire top surface of the wax to melt evenly.

How to rescue the candle tunnel?

1. Candle topper or tin foil can be used. But please be careful not to get burned.

2. If using tinfoil, wrap the tinfoil around the top edge of the candle when it burns.

3. But leave a hole in the middle just above the wick.

4. Then, burn the candle until all the wax on the surface melts and becomes flat.
