Candle tunneling is a common problem when candles are not burned carefully. It causes a hole to form in the center, leaving unused wax around the edges. To prevent it from happening again, follow these steps:
First Burn: A new candle for the first time, let it burn long enough (at least 45 mins) to melt the entire surface. This prevents the tunnel from starting.
Trim the wick: Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn. This ensures proper burning and helps prevent tunneling.
Even Burn Time: The candle burns for at least 45 mins. This allows the entire top surface of the wax to melt evenly.
